Reporting Portal Development

Overview

A Fortune 5000 company was looking for a mobile solution that included event management to capture lead data in real time in order to better manage communication to any given individual through the marketing funnel, as well as to facilitate effectiveness metrics for management.

Challenge

The client was looking to capture events and leads for multiple events nationwide. They needed a fully-integrated solution for B2B companies that could handle unlimited front-end users with unlimited devices. The solution had to be built on cross-platform technology and provide scalability and flexibility as the needs of the organization grew. It should also support multi-site management to accommodate multiple users at a national level. It required a powerful and secure back-end system, providing a fully-integrated end-to-end solution with a robust reporting portal.

Result/Summary

PDS created a complete responsive user interface using .NET with a SQL backend. The reporting portal included multiple reports to track leads and events across national levels. Each report offered drill down functionality for regions, districts and individual sales and showed important metrics for measuring marketing ROI. The reports were created using a robust grid-view system that allowed each user to customize their selection. PDS also implemented a feature enabling the user to export a CSV formatted report based on their custom selection. The project has been successful from onset and is an ongoing project that PDS supports and maintains and customizes each year for the client.
